I started working in the corporate world in 2011. Over the past 11 years, I have worked in various profiles, trying to understand what I really wanted to do. From social media optimization to teaching at a college, I have done many things until I really found my niche.  But my experience is not why I am confident that I will be able to help you.  In 2017, my son was born. After his birth, I suffered through a severe episode of postpartum depression. It was so bad that I could not face people, I could hardly even look at myself. So, after my maternity leave, I took a one-year sabbatical from work. I was so depressed that I isolated myself from most people around me, I could hardly take care of myself let alone my son. I felt like a complete failure and often struggled with thoughts of self-harm.  But, I allowed myself the time to heal. And let me tell you, this was not easy. I got through the good days and the bad days and somehow came out on the other side of the tunnel.  All that was 5 years back! I was able to join back the workforce and find renewed passion in my work. I was able to refocus on my work and grow professionally. There are a lot of things I learned during this healing journey and I realized that there are a lot of people who would need the guidance that I can provide. I know that there are many mothers who go through what I went through. I know that there are a lot of people feeling lost in the path of their careers. And I am sure that my experience and my healing can help a lot of people out there.
